Trained as a corporate librarian, Andrea Rosenthal began to use photography as a way to catalog her reactions to the sights and people she's encountered in her life and travels. Much of it is like a walking meditation, opening up to emotions, colors, and revelations of the unseen in the process of being part of the world.
In addition to street photography, she's published a book,"Stations of the Scale: A Photographic Memoir About Food and Suffering." Using herself as a model in many of the images, she takes an insightful, humorous approach to food and overeating that is both specific and universal.
